Big difference

Ok.. so we are both portuguese me and my girlfriend and I don't really know to translate this:

"Digo-lhe eu, enquanto a abraço:
-Agarra-me com força...
- Eu não te agarro com força, agarro-te com jeito."

It was something like:

"I said to her:

Me- Hold me with all your strength ...

Her- It's not a matter of strength , it's a matter of knowing how to hold you. "
